Cellular Tracking Technologies has revolutionized telemetry fieldwork yet again with our new CTT Sidekick™. Gone are the days of headphones, static, and faint beeps.

Our CTT Sidekick takes the mystery out of subjective beeps by relaying the unique digital ID of our nearby radio tags right onto your smart phone. The signal strength for each tag is also displayed, allowing for precise and fast localization. The CTT Sidekick works with both our 434MHz and 2.4GHz wildlife tags, including LifeTag™, HybridTag™, PowerTag™, BlūBat™ and BlūMorpho™ tags.


The Sidekick connects to any smartphone or tablet, iOS or Android, and works with our free mobile app. Not only can it localize and display the list of nearby tags, the Locator can be used to verify tag identity and functionality before deployment. Additionally, you can create calibration files to assist in better localization using CTT Nodes.


The mobile app also records the important aspects of your field session including the tags detected, time of detection, and your location at detection. This data can then be downloaded later for review and analysis.


The CTT Sidekick comes with two omni directional antennas for easy tag testing and nearby localization, but also comes with optional 434MHz and 2.4GHz yagi antennas.


The CTT Sidekick module features 75% weight reduction from the original Locator, making field work a breeze.

    The CTT Sidekick is the newest member of the CTT radio family which can be used for hand-tracking the full line of 434MHz and 2.4GHz tags (CTT LifeTag, PowerTag, HybridTag and the new CTT BlūSeries Tags including the BlūMorpho)...but that's just the beginning!

    The CTT Sidekick Can:
